The nervous system can be affected due to the neuro infectious diseases, from the brain and spinal cord to muscles and nerves. Furthermore, most of the neuro infectious diseases include encephalitis and meningitis, in which inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord caused by bacteria or viral infection may lead to disability or death.
