World Congress on Infectious Diseases & One Health
October 05-07, 2026 | Tokyo, Japan
The relationship between infectious diseases and public health is central to preventing and controlling outbreaks that threaten entire populations. Infectious diseases are not only a medical issue but also a social and economic one, affecting communities on multiple levels. In addressing infectious diseases and public health, governments and health organizations must prioritize strengthening healthcare infrastructure, improving disease surveillance systems, and enhancing response capabilities. Public health initiatives aimed at vaccination, hygiene, and health education can significantly reduce the transmission of infectious agents. By focusing on equity and global collaboration, public health systems can be better equipped to manage and mitigate the effects of infectious diseases.
