The advent of personalized medicine also allows for the development of targeted therapies that can be tailored to individual patients, optimizing outcomes. With advances in drug screening, computational modeling, and high-throughput testing, the process of discovering new drugs is becoming faster and more efficient, offering hope for combatting both old and new infectious threats.
