Biography:

Lin Yucheng studied fungal infection and plant–microbe interactions, focusing on how arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi influence plant health and host responses. His research investigates the dual roles of Funneliformis mosseae in Vigna angularis, Vigna radiata, Ipomoea batatas, and Allium tuberosum. In June 2026, he presented this research at Infection 2026, the 10th Edition of the World Congress on Infectious Diseases in Barcelona, highlighting host-dependent fungal colonization and the balance between beneficial symbiosis and adverse plant responses. His related work was also presented at the 2025 International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) Congress.
