Biography:
Dr. Jawed Iqbal is Professor at the School of Biosciences and Technology, Galgotias University, India. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University and has extensive research experience in virology, molecular genetics, immunology, and recombinant DNA technology. He previously served as a Ramalingaswami Fellow at Jamia Millia Islamia and as Senior Research Associate at Rosalind Franklin University, USA. His research focuses on host–virus interactions, HCV biology, innate antiviral signaling, CRISPR-based diagnostics, and viral genome sensing. He has 32 publications, five book chapters, one edited book, two patents, three research grants, and has supervised three PhD scholars.
