Biography:
Bedilu Asrat is a Public Health Microbiologist and Senior Laboratory Advisor with over 12 years of experience in clinical diagnostics, molecular laboratory systems, and disease surveillance in Ethiopia. He holds an MSc in Clinical Laboratory Science (Public Health Microbiology) from Hawassa University and currently serves as a Laboratory Advisor seconded to the CDC at the Sidama Public Health Institute. His work focuses on viral load networking, molecular surveillance, laboratory quality improvement, and pathogen genomics, contributing to stronger laboratory systems and improved public health services across the region.
